Senior's Lunch

On December 18th, 2004 our club, along with the Cornerstone Community Church, hosted our annual Senior's Lunch with our own, Paul Fletcher, acting as emcee.

The staff and volunteers at Cornerstone Community Church are to be commended for the fantastic meal they prepared and served to 110 seniors from the community!

Thanks to the Children's Chorus from the Mississauga Children's Choir (MCC), who provided the entertainment by singing and having us join in singing Christmas Carols to celebrate the season.

During the festivities, it was President Ravi Khosla's pleasure to present a donation from the Rotary Club of Mississauga-Meadowvale to Cornerstone Community Church, in recognition and support of the wonderful work they perform in our own community.

Ravi also had the pleasure of presenting Mississauga Children's Choir with a financial contribution to the choir.

David O'Hearn, MCC Board of Directors President (and Vocational Director of Rotary Club of Mississauga-Meadowvale) expressed his thanks to Ravi and rest of the Club for their continued support of the Arts and Youth in Mississauga.
