Daniel Shapiro, Academic Program Manager, Microsoft Canada, speaks to the students and Rotarians attending Camp Enterprise 2005, an annual event held at the Erindale Campus of the University of Toronto.

Daniel gave an interesting presentation on 'gadgets' and technology in general, focusing on whether the 'need' for these devices (perceived or otherwise) drive adoption of new technology.  He also pointed out that opportunities exist in the marketplace as a result of the use of these items (such as backup of digital media for the home and the convergence of technology in general).

The students (and some Rotarians) were impressed by the tablet PC and smartphone that Daniel demonstrated to the audience.
